When Poem by Mary Champion

When

When my hunger for you was too strong to resist,
when I felt my heart melt every time that we kissed,
when your touch set my body on fire,
when you were my only desire,
when the passion was too hard to hide,
when the longing could not be denied,
when madness took hold of my mind,
when love made my common sense blind,
when the harsh light of dawn broke the spell -
it was then when I woke up in Hell.
