When A Dumb Speaks Poem by Mae Espiritu

When A Dumb Speaks

Why should I be afraid?
When there's nothing to worry of..
Why should I need to confine myself?
In this wall that condemn; s my soul.

The emotion becomes void,
Though the heart pushed to strong.
I am mute! Nullified by the world!
and vanished in every single thoughts.

But I will cry out this fears!
and stop the shudder of voice.
To face this lonely dreams,
vex me, ‘til my body's in tomb.

I will depose the darkness
prisoned me for years,
I will stand firmly, until the day,
WHEN A DUMB SPEAKS!
