When A Poem Buds In Me Poem by Nimmy Kudali

When A Poem Buds In Me

Rating: 4.0

When the glowing stars
invoke surprise in me,

When I sew a dream
with the colors of rainbow,

When I get immersed
in the melodious music of rain,

When I turn to a child
being pampered by nature,

When I see the smile of a child
untouched by evils of grownups,

When the pain of parting
hurts my soul,

When my mind becomes void
with no hopes left anymore,

When I hide sorrows in my heart
wearing a mask of forgetfulness,

When I cry to weather away
the stone of pain in my chest,

When my screams get echoed
and being left unheard,

When agony in me make me
wait for my own death,

New buds of poems
start sprouting in me.
