When Death Comes A Calling Poem by josephine lee

When Death Comes A Calling

With a lighten heart
I got off from work
With a heavy heart
I went back home
Guess some would ask why

So the story goes,
Off work I am
Thinking a relaxing day to come
As usual to mum i call
Asking where she was

At grandma she say and to come
For death have come a calling
She was asking for us
Back home i went
A quick bath i had and with bro
We took a bus and went to grandma
still too late we arrive
Gone is she and we did not get to see her last...................

When death comes a calling
He does not stop for anyone
