When Did I Lose You Poem by Tony Cox

When Did I Lose You

For two decades, my path was simple.

Every step had the weight of love.

This I know.

For two decades, we rode the waves of deceit on a
Surfboard of faith.

This I know.

For two decades, the current of rumors splashed at our
Feet.

Yet our sandals of truth kept us on dry ground.

This I know.

For two decades, your song has filled my ears with the melody of dedication.

This I know.

For two decades, we have hibernated each night while
God's night-light shined on us.

This I know.

For two decades, your beauty has shielded my eyes
From temptation's glare.

This I know.

Yet for two decades, when did I lose you?
