Distressing when good is bad
Sad when bad is good
Rejection when love is the fad
Oblivion when I am misunderstood

Sorrowful when peace is war
Mournful when one is two
Depressing when man is poor
Loneliness because I never grew

Bitter when heart is slashed
Wailing when light shines bright
Tearful when hopes are thrashed
Hopeless when I lose the fight

Rotten when dreams are dead
Pitiful when I cry for support
Lousy when tears are shed
End of all for me I lastly exhort
