Books with dark, riveting paragraphs;
Music that has the touch of butterfly wings;
Words that flow from my soul and then to the paper.
My favorite nights are those that contain music and written words.
On these nights, I keep my distance from Slumber's tight grasp.
I revel in the beautiful wonders which music and books bring.
I am in a world devoid of danger.
No concerned voices can be heard.
I receive solace in music and riveting stories.
They are my dearest friends.
Whenever I need them, they are here.
When I feel lost, they bring me home.
In comforting embraces they hold me.
They assist me through difficulties with which I contend.
They withdraw my sorrows and fears.
I am never lonely when I am alone.
