I have always thought
I needed to do something
before I go
I mean going
Without coming back
To some place I hope isn't hot
I have not figured out exactly what
But there is something I want done
I want to be buried with my dog
His name is Robby
If he goes first I will save his bones
To be with me when my time is due
But if I leave before he does
I want him laid by my side
That little dog is my best friend
Made me smile at my saddest
And adores me like no other
It is just fair that we go together
Until the very end.
