When I call on Jesus, he makes everything all right.
He takes away my tension, and I don't feel uptight.
He gives me the peace I need to sleep through the night.
When I call on Jesus, he shows up in time and fights my fights.
When I call on Jesus, he gives me the wisdom to outwit my enemies before the fight.
He shows up in the darkest hour and shines his light.
When I call on Jesus, I have the faith knowing he's got this fight.
Because I walk by faith and not by sight, knowing that he fights for what is right.
If I did not have my faith, I would not be able to sleep through the night worrying about what the enemy was always doing out of my sight.
But now I can rest knowing his angels never rest fighting my fights.
