When I Die Poem by Sukhi Luther

When I Die

Rating: 5.0

When I die please don't cry
When I die don't mourn over my death

When I die, Laugh, dance, celebrate
Because I will be in a better place

When I die, tell the world my story
Because I will leave a reason to be remembered

When I die, dress me like a bride
For I never want to be distanced from my love

When I die, don't travel travel too far to come to my funeral
Because I would've rather seen you when I was alive

When I die, don't talk about how nice I was
Because I would've rather heard it when I was alive

When I die, tell my family I loved them
Because I don't have the courage while I'm alive

When I die, play loud happening music
So that I can dance in my grave

When I die, it will not be the end
Because the body dies, not the soul

I will be here, forever
In you heart.
