When I Go To Sleep Poem by Sofia Moreno

When I Go To Sleep

Every morning, when I open my eyes
I wonder, The same damn thing I wonder
I wonder how can I dare to breathe again
I wonder where my life espectations are.

Every night, when my head is in my pillow
I wonder if my life will be long, please no...
I wonder if my life short will be, please yeah...
I want to stop, no, no for breath, but to End.

Every night, before I close my eyes
I begin to wonder
And when my eyes are deeply closed
I won't stop wondering...

Don't you wonder what do I wonder?
Tell you something, I wonder so too...
I guess I'm really lazy
for not wanting to continue this lie.

My life teacher is active, trying to teach
but this student; pen in hand; is dormant
And wondering and wandering is the same to me
And breathing and being in jail is the same to me.
