When I Lived For You Poem by Stephen Martin II

When I Lived For You

Rating: 5.0

I was a teacher a prophet a poet
A thinker a drinker a student
A speaker a listener a spinner

Whatever you told me to be

I was a chef and a chief
A thief and a king
A juggling lion tamer

For you I've been many things

Now I don't use the words
I have left on this page
I know what I am
And I just don't have to say
