When I'M In Your Arms Poem by Kaytlin Ketchum

When I'M In Your Arms

Outside the world is dark
Rain is pouring down
Sunlight is blocked by rain clouds
I'm inside with all the lights one
Trying to make everything seem brighter

Everything is in the light
But still it feels so dark and cold
I want to hold you in my arms
So I'll know your real and here
Need to feel your warmth near me

Everything is so much better with you
You chase away the darkness
Make everything brighter
Nothing can be wrong
When I'm in your arms

Lightning is streaking the sky
Every thunder clap makes me jump
You pull me closer to you
Surrounding me with your warmth
But still the thunder scares me

One loud clap of thunder
All the lights go out
I can't see anything
But I can still feel you holding me tight
You make me feel so safe
