When I Saw The Clay Idol Of Lakshmi Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

When I Saw The Clay Idol Of Lakshmi

It was my good luck
To see the clay idol of Lakshmi
They taking away
Through the lonely crossroads
To take to the country way.

Goddess Lakshmi was seated
On the trolley
And I seeing her unawares,
Goddess of wealth and prosperity
With a pitcher in her lap
And with a mythological owl.

All of sudden I saw her seated upon
And she looking to,
Lakshmi,
Goddess Lakshmi seeing blissfully
So calmly composed and serene.
