When I Think Of You

I’m finding that when I think of you
My emotions become deeper.
I’m finding that when I think of you
My love for you grows greater.

I’m scared of this
And I’m scared of you
I’m hoping everything you say is true.

I’m finding that when I think of you
My love for you grows stronger.
I’m finding that when I think of you
I start to become a dreamer.

Each night I dream
Of you and me
Each night I dream
And its something I want to see.

I’m finding that when I think of you
I almost tell you, “I love you.”
I’m finding that when I think of you
My love for you is growing.

I’m scared of this
And I’m scared of “us”
I’m scared to the core of my heart
So much so, I want to cuss.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I've recently been talking to a special someone and I'm noticing that when I go to hang up the phone (we have a LTR) that I almost tell him I love him every time and it scares me because I don't want to be hurt. I know you must take risks in order to gain something worthwhile so I'm taking the plunge and giving him my heart. I hope with everything I have he's the one.
