Like birds, soaring in the sky
flapping wings up and down together
wringing out all i had for you
but you made it look like it was not enough

Did you even feel something for me?
Did i fill that empty space?
could you sacrifice your life for me?
I guess you never gave it a prize

Like a joey i carried you everywhere
protected you with my shield with
my armour on
Like a porcupine i protected you
like my territory
But i guess it wasn't enough

Would you care if we quit talking
would you care if it was to go?
i met you at a point of no return
you failed to find the imperfections
in the deeper sea of my affection
