When It Rained That Day. Poem by RAVIKIRAN ARAKKAL

When It Rained That Day.

Rating: 5.0

Walking along in the sunshine,
It started raining sudenly,
Harsh winds blew,
Heavy drops it rained,
Lashing the road
All the bikeriders stopping,
Taking shelter in shops,
Then I saw her drenched
To the skin, showing
All her secret places,
Tall and with a gait,
She walked along,
In the rain alone,
Like drenched flower,
Not stopping for a shelter,
I felt something very special,
About this lone woman in rain.
