When it rains
something happens in your soul
A stirring of emotions
The mind wanders off,
exploring places that lie dormant within us,
forcing us to face whatever it is we buried in there...
For me the rain signifies a cleansing of the mind and heart,
sometimes causing great sorrow or melancholy
and other times a sort of peace,
washing away the negative energies
and replacing them
with renewed hope and inspiration...
