Once upon a time
love
this is how it starts
the most beautiful fairy tales
cant always talk
princes and princesses.
And that love lasted
it withstood ice rain
the wind it took
just about everything
the fear of the end of the world
and other people
those who sat on the benches
threw breadcrumbs at the birds.
And when the birds flew away
we let them go
sadly winged.
And we secretly rejoiced in it
that we were together
even though the birds were gone.
