What does a man do? When he's been struck by lightning...
Standing in the storm of the darkest hours of his good life?
Does he proclaim his LOVE on top of the highest mountain?
Or does he proclaim his LOVE on the highest church steeple?
What does a man do? When all his heart can do is beat for you?
What does a man do? When thoughts are the purest they've been?
Because all he wants is not just to LOVE you but cares how you feel?
And just wants to hold you, and take care of you...

Like a good man is suppossed to...
Like a great partner is meant to do.

When there is a war going on that divides me from you too?
When on the other side of the world, people are dying to live...
In a free democractic society, that has a variety of choices rich
With the hope that one day the storm cloud will pass by over time
And the sunshine will shine again, and free their minds of landmines
And all they want to do, is be free like me and you...

Because we have love to hold on to...
Because we have each other to peruse.
