We Are All Canucks Poem by O. A.

We Are All Canucks

We Are All Canucks

Where I live in the world
In the town, I call home
We are all Canucks
In the town, I make my own
And I would not have it
Any other way, no way.

The Canadian Pride
The Feeling of living
In the best country
In the world, after yours
Is something I feel
In everything this town
Reveals, in everything I see...

From Stanley Park
To Vancouver Island
To authentic Gastown
To authentic Granville Island
To the Capilano Suspension Bridge
To Canucks Place with their Sick Kids
To Children's Hospital here in B.C.
To the die hard fans of the WhiteCaps
To the die hard fans of the Canucks
To the die hard fans of the B.C. Lions
To the broadcasts of the renowned C.B.C.
To the broadcasts of CityTV, Global and CTV
To the ski slopes of Whistler and Black Comb
To the music performances of the V.S.O.
To the Fringe Festivals and Theaters around
To the amazing Restaurants and Eateries in town
To the different cultures that call this place home
There's no other place for me, or my family
There's no other place for me, or my dear UBC
Simon Fraser, Western Trinity, or Fraser Valley
It's all something you have to experience here
The Feeling of belonging to something bigger
In a town where Canadian Pride is at an all time
High...

Where I live in the world
In the town, I call home
In the streets where I roam

We are all Canucks
We are all Canucks
We are all Canucks

In fact across the country
In every city and valley
In the town, I make my own

We are all Canucks
We are all Canucks
We are all Canucks

And I would not have it
Any other way, no way.

And I would not have it
Any other way, no way.

And I would not have it
Any other way, no way.

The Canadian Pride
The Feeling of living
In the best country
In the world, after yours

Is still how I feel
And I know for alot of us now
Still living here...
That feeling is still very real...

And I would not have it
Any other way, no way.

And I would not have it
Any other way, no way.

And I would not have it
Any other way, no way.

O.A.
