When Lights Go Out Poem by James Dionne

When Lights Go Out

You remain One upon the World.
The World remains with only One - they are all gone and you are left.

Seek no escape - you're the last alive.
Wake and remember their calls, and do not subside with anyone, and with them you shall come; do not remember the Past.

The World is gone -
your eyes will turn and you will dream,
no more.
