When the ordered stuff came it
By delivery mail,
An idol of black-hued Shanideva
With the crown golden
Overhead
And the weapons too golden-hued
Together with the clothing bordered so,
Exactly that eve coincidentally
Saw I the owls,
Blackly-striped owlets
Inside the campus,
Sitting by the wire
Over the gate
Close to,
Ones or twos flying and rounding
And sitting and squeaking,
One among them seemed to be a grey owl
While the other a whitely one.
