my
name was written
in the stars
brightness
complimentary to yours
turning
leisurely
beside
me
i orbited
your planet
but your gravity force
ripped me in two
half of me
left
and i felt empty
for forever
and my light
extinguished
under yours
weeping stars
shooting
and darkening
and dying
arrived in my orbit
like
a meteor shower
uncontrollable
and bursting with yellow light
i was only a shadow
next to the magnificence
they described you
as you once were
i slept
under your light
i was possessed
by your
light
dark moths
that fly to flames
never have possessed fully
flames
of their own

A beautiful and romantic piece. Great writing here, as always.
