When Sadness Reigns
When sadness reigns
When sadness reigns
There be a gargling in
The cemetery
I search
I find it in the trees
Then move
And by the ossuary
It rings:
There's a hammer
Beating
Beating
Beating
The old sadness returns
With
Its companion
Yellow faced depression:
The sea waters dirty
Rustle
And
The birds in the bushes
And the reeds
Sing not
Though it be dawn
