When Tears Fall Poem by Rowan Truebody

When Tears Fall

Unseen tears are never cried, they fall in the dark, silent, alone
At the times when not even hope is left at home,

The world goes dark, the pillows still wet
The eyes still sting, the lips taste of salt
But if no-one hears them, no-one sees them
They don’t happen.

Do they?
