When The House Of The Old Mock Was Excavated Poem by Bijay Kant Dubey

When The House Of The Old Mock Was Excavated

When the old historical house of the drunkard
Was excavated,
The spade fell upon with a clang
On the bottles, only bottles
Lying buried deep
Behind his house
But the old mock,
The old mock was not,
His bottles as archaeological ruins
Or findings were
Telling of the old annals of beverage and drinks,
Tastes and habits of the man
Long dead
When the rusted lock was broken
Came it to light.
