I remember when the sun shone bright
And warm
So warm
I remember when it was hot
So hot we sat in front of the fan
And mopped our faces
But we were still hot
And shaded our eyes
But it was still bright
Bright and oh so blue
It swallowed us up
And made us think it would never end
