When the words abandon me
I feel so hollow,
There is an ocean inside
That wants to overpower.
When the words abandon me
I feel so lonely,
I want to shout
Let the feelings take over.
When the words abandon me
I feel so helpless,
The untold stories
Hurt my memories.
When the words abandon me
I feel so angry,
I want to do so much
But my anger is imprisoned.
When the words abandon me
I feel so sad,
The love I don`t express
Remains buried, deep inside.
When the words abandon me
Is the darkest hour,
The world goes on
I, left behind in sorrow.
