When The World Falls Poem by Nick Watkins

When The World Falls

when the world falls down
down to its knees
we all seem to frown
as we wish to bleed the sea
when the roads split in half
and the sky turns black
our eyes soon fade away
through the innocent decays
of all our lies and all our cries
but one thing remains
the positive thoughts running in our brains
that this world is not so ruined
only by ones who are outgunned
but the ones with the call
and the ones who witnessed the fall
will live through it all
as they wish they could die
yet push themselves to try
so when the world falls
listen and you will hear the sound of my call.
