When Things Fall Apart Poem by Oluwatobi Olaide

When Things Fall Apart

Rating: 5.0

Life of Braces and Cuddles
Traces of shadows
Total emBRACE of self
All held together and shattered same time
Gained everything, lost everything
Deep thoughts drive within
100 years was what I spent to stand
Now I am half that age
Lines not looking equal
Deep thoughts of absence
Now I must fight.
Sounds of the clarion
Everything to a HALT
No time to pick up pieces
EVERYTHING IS ALREADY APART.
