Why die ignorant?
To all I fancy is untrue
I ran many times heading no where
Got to my destination, still had nothing
I keep looking for more in nothing
Alas! ! ! All that's flashy is not GOLD
"Vanity upon vanity" like the preaching preacher says
So lost, so easy to find myself
I had it all now left with nothing
Arise its dawn again with same shame
Focus on the light of the brightest darkness
I would have celebrated you when I had it all.
OH VANITY! ! !
Why art thou make me chase in VAIN…

Brightest darkness - a beautiful paradox. An insightful depiction of vanity upon vanity as a gaudy illusion, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. Thanks fro sharing Oluwatobi.
wow... this is a rare encouragement. I am so glad you love the piece and am eager to do more.. thanks for reading and digesting.
