When Will We Stand? Poem by Rachana McPherson

When Will We Stand?

When will we stand?
Shall we wait for the day when deranged homicidal maniacs take control of our hospitals, or when religious extremists become principals of our schools?
Or shall we wait until the satanic churches and segmented groups thereof take full control of the country’s political systems?
WHEN WILL WE STAND?

Will we stand after the murderers put population figures in the hundreds?
Or will we stand after we have run out of places to bury our friends and our loved ones?
WHEN WILL WE STAND?

Must the waters turn to blood like the days of Moses, or must the skies be darken with the presence of evil before we take a stand?
Must the father send his son once again, or must he himself descend upon us and cleanse us from our wicked ways?
WHEN WILL WE STAND?

I shall take a stand before the morning sun rises and God’s creations set forth to work, before the followers of the Father even think to tell me to take a stand and before my gifted life on this earth comes to an end.
