When You Light The Lamp
When you light the lamp
I know the sun has set
Whether or not the sun will rise
For me
I do not know
Nor how long the lamp will burn
If the oil runs out
When I sleep
Let it be
I have lived in the sun
And I can go by the light
Of a lamp
That you lit
In the corner
Of my heart
