Where Can I Go? Poem by Farah Taskin

Where Can I Go?

Is it really that easy to spend an entire lifetime?
Crossing the ocean is far more fun

The same tastes, feelings and sights return
A light rom-com follows a heavy tragic drama
Comedy after tragedy,
Tragedy after comedy
And comedy after tragedy

An interview with an extraterrestrial cannot be obtained, even if one desires it
Even if one wants to, one cannot lie low in the depths like an angelfish
But the mind needs a fantastic adventure

The new places feel like melancholy children
The new experience feels gloomy, resembling the mood of a sad person
One has to return, return and return to those same monotonies
