Where I Failed Poem by Rafael Dejesus

Where I Failed

Love and being in love is what you showed. A past and a present, you messed up our future. The little white lies you've told, you just made into believable stories. You cried then you laughed such an evil doing. I can say you're like the girl who cried wolf just for the kicks and giggles. You once loved me as I still do for you. I fell to my knees, I promised and I filled your every needs. Confused you felt and the hurt turned you. My apologies you felt where weak. A struggle I forced upon myself just to see you as my queen, but the wall you built was too high for you to be seen.
