Where Is God Now? Poem by Tiya Sen

Does God exist any longer?
If He does then why doesn’t He bother,
To see the pain that overpowers the smile,
On the face of an orphaned child?
Why doesn’t He fix the agony,
Of people who are run over and over by destiny?
Why does He watch them silently suffer,
As, the innocent die of mere thirst and hunger?
Why can’t He shield us from the wrong path?
How can He stand by and watch His children fall till the aftermath?
Everyday people wage wars in His name,
but where is He lost amongst all these claims?
Slowly I am beginning to lose faith in His power,
As I see His earth turning to hell every hour.
