Where My Heart Leads

It's funny how the little things
catch us all off guard.
A tiny flower
with a mighty scent,
Can hit us very hard.

A childs hug
their soft words
innocent and true.

How they take us
as weak as we are.
They look to us
to take them far.

They want us to lead
to show the way.
With their love
We may someday.
