Where Should Am I? Poem by Didith Marcelo

Where Should Am I?

When you carry me in Your hand
You made sure I am in Your grip
You are not letting me go even in my weakest moment
I have hurt You many times with my selfish lust
And still, You further guide me and push me to call on You
You were always there for me even though You are being ignored

Your love never fails even failure is my thing
Your cares never fade even though I care nothing about myself
You brought this life and You stand Your priority on me
I was bound to always feel You
Even I ignore it most of the time
You always pick me up
And even I keep a blind eye
You held me even I forgot to take a grip on You
Your all my all supposedly and it is sad to know I just neglected You
But Your nature does not even budge

Love cares, and holding on to me is what You prioritize
I think that's maybe the reason I don't just simply let go forever
I still remember who You are
Still going back to where I should be
And it's in Your arm and hand where I belong
And where I wanna be
It is You who I need the most
My spirit cannot resist the fact that You alone can mend this life and will always fulfill what my spirit needs.
