Before the door, before hello,
A little paradise starts to grow.
Roses blush in morning light,
Lavender dreams through summer bright.
The daisies laugh with open faces,
Welcoming all with gentle graces.
Butterflies drift, the bees hum low,
Keeping secrets only flowers know.
Rain leaves diamonds on each leaf,
Sunlight turns them bright and brief.
The breeze composes quiet songs
That every blossom sings along.
Neighbors pause, if just a while,
Drawn in by nature's easy smile.
Children point, and sparrows play,
As blooms salute the waking day.
This garden asks for little praise—
Just faithful hands and patient days.
Yet every blossom seems to say,
"There's beauty waiting every day."
And when I finally step inside,
I carry peace I cannot hide,
For in this patch of earth and sky,
My heart has found its sweet reply.
