Where The Peace Poem by Jimmy Hardwick

Where The Peace

Peace is a life I've never
seen
A dream I've never dreamed
I run the streets
so my family can eat
If you've seen what I've
seen
then you'll see there is no
peace
When will it end
When will the love begin

Political corruption has
us bound in the fists of sin
Drugs and violence
these people see evil and
still continue to stay
silent
These days you can't remain
quiet
I've searched the ends of
the earth to regain my birth
but every where's the same
It's never going to change

The wars in the east
The wars in the streets
When will it cease
The world is kneeling at
Satan's feet
So I pray to Lord my soul to
keep and one day finally
find peace
