There is a place where the soul hides,
behind a blink, a gesture,
a space the world cannot reach,
where even love arrives too late.
A corner made of unspoken sighs,
of truths that hurt in silence,
a pause between two heartbeats
where hope begins to shatter.
There, everything is thinking shadow,
a light too afraid to be born,
an echo of "I need you"
that was never fully sworn.
Who sees inside a broken soul?
Who holds with no reason to stay?
Sometimes, all it takes is a glance
to save what hides away.
I've lost myself in that abyss,
no map, no voice, no why.
And I've learned, as I fell in the dark,
that the soul does not fear pain…
It fears being forgotten.
