Where Were You? Poem by Sharon Andrews

Where Were You?

Rating: 5.0

Where were you
I dreamt of a life
To share my thoughts
Where dreams come through
for me and you
But did you forget
or just not bother
Oh how my heart duth flutter
Your absence cut me like
a hot knife through butter
But through the years
my heart grew a second skin
You'll have to work hard for
me to let you in
Your works not over when you've broken through
Prove to me the love i once knew
that it's here to stay
you won't go away
If you hurt me again
no more chances
your out in the cold
cause remember i told you
you have been told.
