Wherefore Art Thou Oh Mine Lord? Poem by Roxanne Dubarry

Wherefore Art Thou Oh Mine Lord?

Wherefore art Thou oh mine Lord? Oh mine Lord!
Wherefore art Thou oh mine Lord? Oh mine Lord!
Wherefore art Thou oh mine Lord? Oh mine Lord!

Diligently and earnestly I searched for Thee oh mine Lord!
I hast searched high and hast journeyed low. And hast not
foundth Thee oh mine Lord! I hast searched the windy and
stormy sea. And scaled the mountain peaks. Oh mine Lord!

Earnestly and endlessly I hast searched for Thee oh mine Lord!
I hast journeyed into the endless depth of Thine blue seas.
I hast searched for Thy presences by hast failth to foundth Thee.
Why oh why oh mine Lord hast Thou hidest Thine countenance

I hast even journeyed into the bowels of Thine earth.
I foundth only lost and desperate and forsaketh souls
of the sons and daughters of mankind. The lost souls
of the spiritual blind.

I hast traveled beyond the earth and the sun and
all of the starry heavenly host. But I couldth
not findth Thee! Wherefore art Thou oh mine Lord?

I hearth in my inner most ear. Thy still small quiet
voice I didth hearth Thine holy voice. "Peace be
still. Peace be still. Thou hast searched for me
and thou hast foundth me. Because thou has searched
for me with thine whole heart! "

Love in Christ Jesus!
