Which Road, Which Way Poem by Signature Black

Which Road, Which Way

Down which road do I go?
The left of the right,
The right will last for months,
The left will take the night,

While the left road is short,
Soon I’d move again,
The right may be long,
But I walk it with a friend,

So which way do I go?
Which road do I take?
When either way I gain,
But either ways a mistake,

Maybe I should stop,
Turn around and head home,
But then there's no progress,
And I’m stuck in the same zone,

What if I make the wrong choice?
And I can’t walk away,
A risk I have to take,
And one I’ll do today,

Time is getting on,
And the light becomes dim,
As I sit upon the ground,
Thinking what could have been,

The clock keeps ticking,
Which road do I choose?
What one do I want?
Which one do I lose?
