Whichever Way You'Re Not Poem by Brandon Adamson

Whichever Way You'Re Not

It appears you’re coming, and going my way.
Therefore I’ll go another way.
Can’t look the other way,
The thought of you being near,
just the thought,
makes me feel not so hot.
Get set, ready or no,
I’ll just go whichever way you’re not.

Knowing where you are,
helps me decide where not to be,
makes it easier,
easier for me.
Like someone walking at the same speed,
I’ll slow my pace,
make the opposing move,
whatever I have to
to be opposite from you so,
get set, ready or no,
I’ll just go whichever way you’re not.

This world’s not big enough for all of us.
Someone save the select few,
make something beautiful,
start anew.
But what right do I have to get rid of you?
I’ve got the will,
without a way to make it so.
I’ll just go whichever way you’re not.
