While I Sail Deep Through This Dark Troubled Sea

While I sail deep through these dark troubled sea;
Across the immerse browness of your eyes;
Within these tear-filled pools that entrained me,
Through and through this cold fiery ball of wiles.
On a moonlight hue of silvery veil,
And the wild tempest that beguiles my ship.
To stare long at thee, who but dreams can tell,
White as the last Flower in Winter's keep.
Beloved of the night, who but thee can shine,
Brightest of stars when all are in the sky.
Curse; bless me, anchor thy pure heart to mine.
Blood to bones, while sober I sit and sigh.
That neither storm nor yonder glories' lore
Could sever my eyes from sight of thy shore.
