Whispers In The Stillness Poem by bonifacio alba

Whispers In The Stillness

Whispers in the Stillness

In the stillness of the night so deep,
Questions drift where shadows sleep,
The mind wanders, asking why,
Under the watch of a velvet sky.

Crickets chirp their gentle tune,
A soft refrain beneath the moon,
While music flows, both near and far,
Carried by dreams to where wishes are.

I gaze beyond to the stars that gleam,
Through drifting clouds in a silver stream,
The air is cool, a tender embrace,
Brushing my soul with a quiet grace.

And in this calm, my heart will pray,
For hope to bloom with the light of day,
That dawn will rise, serene and true,
With brighter skies and a clearer view.
