White Poem by Alece Woosley

White

I can't say why I like white exactly
maybe it is because it is
ready for anything
you can cover it up easily
it fits in with all
blank and thoughtless
the color to turn to when confused
the beginning and the ending of the rainbow
how it shines in the moonlight
it as true as you want it
shares everything
takes its own risks
and stands for nothing
naked and bare
holds up a good fight
yet falls to the depths for support
bold to be as it is
can be whatever you wish
makes any and everything
has no mean or attitude
and remarkable at ease
it's nothing and everything
at the same time
also meaningless
and ever so pure
the background to everything
study in speed
a beginning and end to life
it's speechless
always fashionable
smart and dumb
depressing and happy
can hold a shape
desperate and hungry
responsible
there is only one
sites for your plea
tame as you allow
cares for nothing and everything,
you look at the color
and that's all you see
until you look closer
and begin to see and think pacifically.
