White And Blue Poem by Lois doyle

White And Blue

I found a million reasons to start looking for myself inside,
And only one reason not to and that's what I might find.
Could I walk down through the stars and we'd collide?
I stood on a star and fell off but I found loneliness unkind.
I wrote inbetween the galaxies a letter just for you
But I kept on falling down
I stopped just above the earth and looked for the blue
The earth's sky held stories of the times before the crown
I laughed with the great blue and white
He chuckled back to me while he called out for his children to speak
The trees and grass cried aloud with all of their fight
And when they finished telling me their stories, a tear ran down my cheek.
